How to Enable Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) in Noise Monkey
Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) adds an extra layer of security to your account by requiring a second form of authentication in addition to your password. Follow these steps to enable MFA:
Step 1: Log In to Your Account
- Visit the [Your SaaS Name] login page: [Insert Login URL].
- Enter your email address and password, then click Log In.
Step 2: Access Your Security Settings
- After logging in, navigate to your Account Settings.
- Click on your profile icon in the top-right corner.
- Select Security from the dropdown menu or navigate to the Security Settings tab.
Step 3: Enable Multi-Factor Authentication
- In the Security Settings section, locate the Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) option.
- Click on the Enable MFA button to start the setup process.
Step 4: Scan the QR Code with an Authenticator App
- You will see a QR code displayed on the screen. This code contains the information needed to link your account to an authenticator app.
- Open your preferred authenticator app on your mobile device (e.g., Google Authenticator, Authy, or Microsoft Authenticator).
- Tap the option to Add an Account or Scan QR Code within your authenticator app.
- Use your device to scan the QR code displayed on the [Your SaaS Name] website.
Step 5: Verify Your Authentication Code
- After scanning the QR code, the authenticator app will generate a 6-digit code.
- Enter the 6-digit code into the input field on the [Your SaaS Name] website.
- Click Verify to complete the setup process.
Step 6: Backup Your Recovery Codes
- Once MFA is successfully enabled, you will receive a set of recovery codes.
- Important: Save these recovery codes in a safe place. You can use them to access your account if you lose access to your authenticator app.
- You can download the codes as a file or copy them to a secure location.
Step 7: MFA Is Now Enabled
- After enabling MFA, you’ll be required to enter a 6-digit code from your authenticator app each time you log in, in addition to your password.
- If you log in from a new or untrusted device, you will also need to verify using your MFA code.

- Lost Authenticator App or Device: Use one of your recovery codes to log in and disable/reconfigure MFA if necessary.
