What is follow up and how do I use it?
Follow up is a basic way to send an email to everyone who has received a campaign. An example of when this might be usefull is if you're announcing an event and one week later want to let everyone who has received that announcement that the tour is sold old.

How do I send follow up to a subset of recipients?
From the campaign dashboard you can adjust the status of any campaign recipients. This allows you to flag, for example recipients that require follow up. When creating a follow up campaign, you can then specific a target audience.
