What are merge tags?

Merge tags allow you to customise a campaign based on its recipient.

The most obvious example would be including a salutation in your email.

The easiest way to use merge tags and see what is available is to click the tag icon whenever you see the campaign editor.

In addition to the body of a campaign, merge tags can be used in the subject line.
